Paso a Paso Baja

Electricity hookup (CFE)

An electrical feasibility request, a construction or temporary supply, and later the permanent contract (step 4.29). If you add solar, there's an interconnection contract too.

Why it matters

Power for the build and the home.

Who helps

CFE (phone 071). A certified electrical inspector (UVIE) is often needed for the final installation.

What to do: Request electrical feasibility from CFE, then a temporary and a permanent contract.

Tariffs

most of BCS's hot localities are on subsidized residential tariffs (e.g., 1F, for places with a summer average minimum of 33 °C), with a summer subsidy roughly May–October. If your average use exceeds 2,500 kWh per month on tariff 1F, CFE reclassifies you to the unsubsidized DAC high-consumption tariff, which is much more expensive. That threshold is a key reason owners add solar.
